This is an incredibly powerful story and one that is told very well. Thank you for sharing this, it was very brave but important for you to go there since you felt called. You also said that most people travel to relax as your grandmother suggest, and although that is important, traveling to expand, learn, connect and understand is equally as important if not more in my opinion.
